Foundation Stocks has extended its Hybrid line with the new, ultra-light Remnant. The Remnant is made for those who remain when comfort falls, when weight is stripped away, when endurance is more than abundance. For those that strive to go Further Up, and Further In.
Please note that the purpose for choosing the action inlet is so that we can inlet the correct critical seating surface for your specific action. Not all Remington 700 clones are the same action diameter. Knowing specifically which action you will be using allows us to cut the most exacting inlet possible. Ejection port, bolt handle and bolt stop will be an “open” 700 feature set to allow fitment flexibility with like-diameter actions. – Action or DBM not included. Foundation Stocks is proud to add the Remnant Hybrid Backcountry Stock to our Hybrid line. Throughout Scripture, the remnant is the faithful few who remain when everything else has been stripped away — carrying forward only what matters. That is exactly the philosophy behind this stock. We removed everything that wasn’t earning its weight and kept only what makes a rifle shoot well in the backcountry, arriving at a sub-2 lb system that asks you to compromise nothing.
Why a Hybrid?
Our Hybrid line features a unique pairing of Micarta, Carbon Fiber and Aramid Fiber (commonly known as Kevlar). Carbon fiber provides the stock extreme stiffness while the aramid fiber supplies excellent torsion and dampening performance and assures high impact strength. Using this in conjunction with our micarta bedding block has given us an extremely stiff, impact resistant stock with unique dampening characteristics.

- Bore line dropped 1/8″ relative to the top of the recoil pad
