The short-length rail measures 3.8″ in overall length and allows movement of RRS attachments or variants along the length. The short length rail is typically used for tripod attachment close to the bottom metal. The rail comes with the hardware needed to mount to the SS Rail found in every Foundation Stock.
All rails now come with RRS R-Lock compatibility.
